Upper material: Made with Piñatex® , a plant based alternative to animal leather

Inner material: Made with Desserto®, also called cactus leather, another amazing plant based alternative to animal leather

  • local production, handmade in Liptovský Mikuláš, Slovakia

  • less waste design, the interior is made of offcuts to avoid waste material

  • ca. 18 x 12,5 x 6,5 cm (Length x Height x Width)

  • water resistant, not waterproof (I recommend regular application of a waterproofing spray)

20% PLA (Polylactic Acid) PLA is a thermoplastic polymer synthesised from a renewable source.

Piñatex® is a natural, innovative and patented new material, made from pineapple leaf fibres gathered by partner farming cooperatives in the Philippines. Piñatex® fibres are the by-product of the pineapple harvest. No extra land, water, fertiliser or pesticides are required to produce the material.

CARE UPPER MATERIAL (PINATEX)

/1 Clean your product thoroughly and effectively using a cloth soaked in warm soapy water. Never fully submerge the product as this will cause irreversible damage.

/2 Let you item dry before any application is made.

/3 We recommend using a natural colorless wax for your #Madefrompinatex products. Apply a small amount to a dry, soft cloth and rub sparingly over the textile.

/4 Leave your item to dry naturally for 24 hours after application.

/5 You can also buff the wax off with a dry cloth or soft brush.
